Historical Hotel

Costperformance, Historical, Breakfast
Historical Hotel. Centered location. I enjoyed staying there. However, the room can be very dark depending on its location in the hotel.

Totally Gracious Hotel with welcoming staff

The most delightful old world Salon
A wonderful and restful respite from the rigors of long distance travel. A welcoming entrance, soft and inviting beds, clean and tasteful. The breakfasts simple and classy, oh yes there is Cava , but well that does not have to be drunk. Well located , and a short walk to wonderful sightseeing, as well as quirky music salons and great and iconic local Parilla . I had a great time

Nice renovations, ok location , great service !!!!

location and modern renovations makes this hotel vedry comfortable.
Loved this hotel for its location and the renovations thats been done are very nice. mixing very modern contemporary design with old world south american charm. breakfast is good but same food everyday. Service is very good with a smile and everybody was very helpful and nice. had an opportunity to eat in the restaurant / bar one night.. drinks are expensive.. vodka tonic and steak overdone was only . unusual for Buenos Aires..

Great location with antique atmosphere.

Very near to all the arraction points in Buenos Aires
I enjoyed staying there. It made me feel like as if I were in the late 19th or early 20th cen. of Buenos Aires. It is decorated with old paintings and the building it self seemed like it had been built in the late 19th cen. although all the facilities are 21st cen.s'.

Nice hotel,good service

clean,quiet,nice staff
Found front end staff very helpful with all my requests re: restaurants to visit where to shop etc.. Would liked to have had more varety for breakfast i.e. more types of egg dishes like fried and or an omelet. Was not very happy with the tour company they used for local tours. Despite promises that they would return you to the hotel after end of tour they just dropped you at a choice of two locations which were some distance from the hotel. Reluctantly they contributed some money toward cab fare. I would not recommend the Tour to Colonia. It is expensive for what you receive. And again upon arrival back in Buenos Aries you are left at the ferry terminal to find your own way back to your hotel. A real rip off in my view.
