wonderful stay in Sidemen
Superbe bungalows in the middle of the most beautiful rice fields of Bali. Good situation for visiting the Pura Besakih, Tirtagangga, Amed. We should have stayed one extra night.

Authentic friendliness of staff, peacefulness, location
Our best stay in Bali. We felt immersed in kindness and calm. We loved the guided rice paddie walk, we hired mountain bikes from the silversmith 2 minutes up the road, climbed Batur (1.30 pick up), visited two local temples, visited Klunkung market. Book at least three nights...we had a full week, and treasured every day.

A little slice of paradise
Location, food, peacefulness
This place is great. Nice and quiet and a wonderful view. Sunsets are amazing. The villas are new and were a great value. I highly recommend it. The food at the restaurant was excellent for dinner. Breakfast for just ok. The 2 hour hike through the rice fields is excellent for taking pictures. Definitely worth it. My two issues: The coffee is poor. "Bali coffee" is a misnomer as it does not use the fantastic coffee from Bali, but something of lower quality mixed with water. For the quality of this restaurant, they would do well to invest in a proper coffee machine. The second thing is that there is no AC, which is fine as it is not that hot. But the ceiling fan is above the bed, and the mosquito net is cloth at the top. So as you lay in bed, you do not feel the breeze of the ceiling fan and air does not circulate very well in the room. We asked for another fan to put by the bed. They had one, but I doubt they have many. They should fix that issue.

A perfect piece of paradise..
Location accommodation and the staff
Highlight of our holiday. The accommodation is fabulous and I couldn't stop looking at the view. Staff are lovely so kind and helpful. We loved the cookery course and definitely worth doing. The chakra massage does need to come with a health warning! Not for the faint hearted

Amazing Escape
Great view, peaceful, good restaurant
Really nice little hotel with wonderful views. Nice pool, and well decorated rooms. Pleasantly surprised by the restaurant food as sometimes its hit and miss with these secluded hotels. Would stay again!

Romantic setting
Nice room, good view and friendly staff
We had a really nice room with a big balcony and a nice view out to the countryside. There is lots to explore if u rent a motorbike and drive around the area. Nice restaurant and friendly staff. All in all, a really nice place to get away from the hectic cities in Bali.
