Bangkok alone.

Great helpful staff. If you have a problem with your room they have no prob moving you. Simple but good breakfast good coffee.
I had a flood in my bathroom the first night and they had no problem moving me to a different room. The staff were very helpful and kind. It's down a little alley that seems shady and it was a little hard to find. Once you go down there its less intimidating and people are quite freindly. It was nice that it wasnt directly on khosan road. Keep in mind it is a budget hotel so it's quite simple a little dirty such as cigarette butts in the hallways. The rooms were clean though and really that is all that matters.

Near Khao San Road

hotel location is near city center
Our stay at the hotel is good. Basic amenities, fair food. Good for 1 or 2 nights stay

Worst Accomodation that I've experienced

there's a fridge. And their cable channel named "Lotus Macau" shows good movies 24/7
Upon arrival, they asked for USD 20 deposit, which came as a surprise since it is not written on their conditions. When we got to the room, there were no towels. We had to ask for them from the receptionist and we were given towels similar to rags. No free water and coffee (!) No coffee/tea making facilities. Hot shower did not work. No free WIFI! (You have to pay 100 baht/day) Free wifi at reception ONLY, where u cannot smoke or consume any food or drink from outside. Toiletries include 1 shampoo and 1 shower gel only, and were in tiny bottles. No toothbrush or toothpaste. TV was an old box-type one, which showed ONE English Channel (Lotus Macau). The rest were Chinese and Thai. No elevator and no assistance from receptionist to carry them. We paid around 19USD a night for this. I have stayed at Siam Oriental where we paid aroubd 10usd/night for a triple room and I found that to be so much better. I will never stay here again.

Great location, friendly staff and quiet.

30 seconds walk to Kaosan Rd, clean rooms, and repeat customer.
Near all the action of Kaosan Road, but in a quiet zone. Buffet breakfast could offer more variety. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Have stayed at others nearby, but this is my choice for value. Have stayed numerous times and will stay again in the future. I live in Thailand and regularly go to Bangkok.

A little different from the pictures

The reception, dining area, cleanliness
This place was quite different from the pictures, but we were still content. It was clean and they leant us a hairdryer because it wasn't in the room. I think it's important to really ask and get what's listed as included in the room. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at this hotel.

Great location, friendly staff, quiet location.

30 seconds walk to Kaosan Rd. In a quiet soi away from the noisy bars. Refrigerator in the room
I've now stayed here 3 times as I live in Thailand. Perfect location for everything, but get a peaceful sleep because no bar music. Behind Kaosan Road, shopping, bars and restaurants 50 metres away. The breakfast is adequate but wouldn't mind some more variety. Wouldn't mind better tv reception and some English channels, but who comes here to watch tv anyway. There are a lot of old basic one star places nearby, but this is better value.

OK for a hostel

Close to khao San
Everything was OK. Was typical standard for a hostel near khao San Rd. Definitely not worth more than the discounted rate I paid.
