4D3N stay
Khaosan road is definitely a happening site in BKK. But, we have never expected this experience.First, the hotel location is very difficult to find as it is located inside a very narrow alley. The alley smells like people peed in the corner. Ive been to cheap hotel/hostel within the same rate and they do take care of their facilities. The first room they got for us ,308,the aircon is not working. When we called the reception, they guy ask us to go down at the ground floor and bring all our stuffs.(they do not have any elevator so we have to carry our luggage) to find out, they are sending us to room 307! Ok so the aircon works but the toilet is undeniably been neglected for cleaning. You can see black molds in every corner. On the second day, the viday hook broke bec it was really old, screws are rusty and need to retire. Theres not much choices for breakfast it's always the same, but reasonable enough for the fee u paid.toast bread, butter, strawberry jam, fried eggs, pancakes, chicken franks, watermelon, pineapple, coffee, milk and tea (but i like the chicken franks). i am not sure if i can recommend this hotel.

Worth it for budget travellers
Low rates and near enough to the beach not to be a problem. Walk in 5 mins. Rooms have fridges, TV's, and aircon that is a blessing in the heat of the morning. Well serviced daily, and light-bulb changed in minutes by super-helpful owner. Close to 7/11 and a fruit and veg open market, so we stocked the fridge and had fresh fruit and yoghurts for breakfast. Also drinks, and essentially water for the beach. The beach itself is lovely, wide and welcoming sweeping in a giant curve lined by restaurants, bars, massage salons, and tour guides where you can book boat trips to islands to snorkel and explore. The rooms were well-appointed, clean and modern. If you can't afford a beachfront cottage or villa and don't mind the inconvenience of a short walk, it's perfect. 100 Metres away is the main road around the island, with multiple transport options to go up down and around the island. Will stay here again with pleasure. Only downside was no lounge or chill area except two chairs under a shady tree on the side of the building. So you chill at the beach or in your room.

They transferred us to Sawasdee Bankok Inn
shower was okay
loud loud loud. We could hear loud music as if we were inside of a club till 4:00am. Super thin wall. It's a decent hotel if you don't mind the music while sleeping. We were okay with that since we only stayed a night.

same menu of breakfast, no sandal in room
hot water, near khaosan
Buffet for breakfast? Can't be buffet as it is just sandwich and egg for the all week. It's terrible for who being here more than 2 days. It costs 109 (Bath Thai) for breakfast, it doesn't worth. You guy shoudn't book the "included" breakfast as you could find better menu outside with just half price ( local street food or seven eleven system). There is no thing in the room, no towel, no teethbrush, no sandal, no hair dryer. Just the hot-cold water and the bed. Room service do not clean up the room without your requirement. And she just cleans the floor and put more toilet paper, and not changing the drap of course. Although the drap should be changed everyday, but she doesn't care. There are cats at the lobby so it smells badlly as they do not keep it clean. No wifi in room, poor internet at the lobby. Customer has to stay at lobby to use poor internet and there are too many mosquito there. My sussgestion do not stay more than 2 days in this hotel.

Don't go there
The worst accomodation I've ever seen and I'm travelling a lot. I had better rooms for half of the price. This one was so tiny and mouldy. The bed too much used and the worst thing were all the bugs and cockroaches not only in the toilet and on the floor also in the bed. We didn't stay and checked out, but the receptionist didn't say a word not even sorry or goodbye and we didn't get any of our money back. Don't mix it up with Sawasdee Bangkok Inn which is 10m away but much cheaper and better with a very friendly staff and they don't have bugs and cockroaches.

Place to avoid
Location and breakfast
First, when we arrived, we were checked in in the standard twin room instead ofsuperior double. But find out it only next morning. The pictures of the rooms are far from reality. Everything was really dirty - walls, furniture, even sheets. I have found hair on my pillow and linens. The stuff was pretending not to understand English.
