Low on important features
Security is good with a 24 hour staff watching the entrance, and location is close to beach and reataurants, and Air Conditioning worked great
A couple things made the stay below standards for even Cambodia. My stay was in a VIP room, which is a step up from the backpacker rooms. The shower was a small trickle of water, and could not be increased in any way. Make trying to take a simple shower a real task. Internet is also terrible, even with low standards for Cambodian internet. Most days you would have to continually log off and on just to get a trickle of download. Only a few times was internet up to normal speed in the 6 day stay. Have stayed at better places on previous trips for the same cost.

Decent place but a little pricey
Well furnished rooms, clean, good location
Well furnished rooms, clean, good location, but a little pricey for what you get. I was there during peak season and Chinese new year so maybe that's why prices were high.

unfriendly staff
sun, beach, sea
We forgot our Ipod under the pillow. When we went back to pick it up, they said they didn't found it. But the headphones were there... they were not helpfull and just said: 'no'. I left without Ipod.

A dirty bare minimum
Centrality, cost
The best thing about this hostel was that the owners looked after our bags overnight for free when we went to Ko Rong Samloem for a night. However there was only one employee who spoke English and she's only there occasionally and I had to organise holding the bags in my highschool French. The room is cheap, but you're almost not even getting what you pay for. The walls are smeared with dirt, the fan is covered in dust and it broke our second night there. The sheets are stained and threadbare. We didn't get bedbugs but I'm quite surprised. The lady who I think is the owner is very unfriendly.

an utter disgrace
nothing, nothing and leaving
stapling a few palm fronds to a cement facsia does not qualify the property to be as a 'bungalow'. the property runs narrowly between two main roads, the reception fronting one and the restaurant, the other. this configuration creates a corridor of noise, and being downhill, the engine noise was problematic. the stairs to upper rooms are precarious and dangerous. the bathroom was a 'wet room' in all senses. the rooms are barely ventilated, and in the 'room with fan' this shouldn't have been an issue... had the fan worked. the replacement pedestal fan also wasn't working; the constant traipsing to and from the reception to solve problems was tedious. having booked two rooms, but the other forced to cancel, the management allocated me the least appealing of the two rooms, but the air-conditioner present in the room would cost extra, despite my having paid for both rooms. the management takes its 'no refund' policy very seriously indeed. pity they weren't as attentive to the property's maintenance. avoid this place as you would the plague.
