Hotel near the Ferry

The hotel was nice.
It is a little bit of travel time from the Central Rail Station but is very close to the ferry terminals. The breakfast was good but very very crowded.
I didnt like that the bed was two twins side by side, they kept sliding apart when I tried to sleep.
The staff was friendly for the most part.

This is a very big hotel with lots of guests yet it is quiet and provides all that makes a stay pleasant. Is a nice walk along the wharf area into town and to the waterfront where you can catch boat tours, go to restaurants and browse the open markets. Was 200m from the Viking line ferry terminal which made my ongoing travel to Sweden very easy. Overall a great place to stay in downtown Helsinki.

Wonderful hotel in an excellent location

scandic grand marina is just that -- grand! everything was perfect!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walk the Esplanade for great people-watching and a relaxing vibe. Great selection of restaurants and bars there too.

Façade un peu austère mais qui correspond à l'architecture locale.
Le petit dej est bien, la salle de gym aussi, grand hall, personnel carré et compétent.
grand hotel donc possible de croiser des gens et de lier des affinités, seul petit soucis, les fenêtres impossible à ouvrir car doublées pour l'isolation mais pas très important ; voilà mon avis sur cet hotel

Diese Hotel ist ein Geheimtipp in Helsinki, weil sehr zentral liegt aber in vergleich zu vielen anderen Hotels relativ günstig ist. Wer aber einen 4-Sterne hotel erwartet, kann sich enttäuschen.

Aus der Bahnhof kommt man zu der Hotel am einfachsten mit dem Strassenbahn nummer 4. Wenn mann aber viel Gebäck hat soll man ein Taxi nehmen, weil der stop ist 200 Meter entfernt. Strassenbahn ist sowieso das beste Verkehrsmittel in der City von Helsinki. Kostenlose Internetverbindung (W-Lan) war eine gute überraschung.

立地‐大聖堂、マーケット広場まで徒歩5分ほど。朝食‐バイキングが付いておりメニューも豊富。静か‐繁華街から少し入ったところにある為、夜に車はあまり通らず静か

宿泊に朝のバイキングが付いており、メニューも豊富で楽しめる。また、路上マーケットまで徒歩5分もかからず行ける為、こちらで朝食をとるのも楽しい。またマーケットの周りにはそこで仕入れた食材を使った料理を出してくれる各種レストランも沢山あり、食べる場所に関しては迷ってしまうほど充実している。
交通に関してもマーケット広場からトラムが出ているし、他国（スウェーデンやエストニア）やスオメンリンナ島行きの船着場もマーケット広場の前なのでホテルから5分以内でつける好立地。
ヘルシンキ自体が大きな町ではないので、ホテルから歩いて15分くらいで中央駅にもヨハネ教会にも行ける。
【悪かった点】
朝食が付いているが朝食のメニューが毎日同じで、フルーツに関してはパイナップルやオレンジ、洋ナシとナイフが置いてあって、自分でカットしないといけないのが面倒。
シャワー室の排水溝に前の人の髪の毛が溜まっていた。

バスつきをリクエストしたら希望通りになっていてうれしかった。バズタブは広くはないが清潔。トイレの水切れが悪い。設備はちょっと古いかも。
ロケーションは、港の近くなので船を利用するなら便利。
街に出るには、徒歩だとちょっと時間がかかる。
私は、ほかのホテルより価格が安いのでこのホテルにした。
トラムがあるので、慣れたら、街への移動は楽だった。
ホテルの前には常時タクシーが待機しているので、帰国時も便利。
ロッカールームがあるので、チェエクアウト後にスーツケースを預けるのに便利だった。
朝食もフィンランド名物のイワシやポテトがあり、場所も広く、よかった。味は普通。
マーケット広場に歩いて３分ほどで便利。
Shopping Tip:
ムーミンショップは、ガイドブックにはカンプ・ギャレリアンにあると書かれていただ無かった。実際はフォーラムの２階にあった。
