Stay at secret paradise
Wonderful stay at secret paradise resort, beautiful setting and great resort. Lovely staff too. Great fish diversity for snorkeling in the bay and around.

SPR Getaway
Seclusion, resticted guests, beaches
SPR was breathtakingly stunning! The restricted number of guests, the beaches, the reefs the laid back feel was a perfect way to finish a three week trip to the Philippines. The staff were fantastic, friendly and accommodating and had plenty of advice. The rooms were just as I imagined - clean and comfortable. There are plenty of things that you can do - snorkeling, kayaking, hiking or just lay on the beach or in the hammocks reading and watching the sunsets. There are slight improvements that could be made. My biggest gripe was having to pay for the boat to and from the island 3,000peso return, this should be included in the ~$200/night accommodation price. The food was also just average (but the Philippines isn't exactly known for its cuisine) We were also hit with a 450peso WWF fee upon checkout that had not been mentioned anywhere on the website previously. However relatively small issues in the scheme of things. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants some downtime and relaxation.

A very special resort
Stunning location, loved watching and cleaning the baby turtles, very peaceful and relaxing
We had such an enjoyable 4 night stay at Secret Paradise Resort! The resort is in a stunning location with beautiful views and sunsets. The staff were very nice and the food was very good too. We thought it was very good value for such a unique and memorable experience watching and cleaning the baby turtles!

Splendid Isolation
The turtles, isolated peaceful location, variety of activities.
The long journey from Puerto Princessa was totally worth it! This resort is tranquil, exclusive and lives up to its name - Secret Paradise. We loved it and would not hesitate to book again here. The one main concern we had was with the poor quality of the food that was available at lunch/dinner time, (breakfast was good though). They did however pull out all the stops for our "special occasion" meal. We had a lovely evening - thank you to Pong and the resort manager. I would urge everyone to take advantage of their planned trips and activities (island hopping, massage, sauna, special occasion dinner, etc.) as they are all worthwhile. To add the cherry on the cake, on 2 of the 3 nights we were there we witnessed the "birth" of some 117 turtles! Keep up the good work. Much appreciated.

The highlight was leaving
Sea,Sand & Departing
Very overrated, this is not any way a 4,3 or 2 star hotel. The whole property 6 cabins are very tired and shabby. Yes there are turtles, but there are turtles in the whole area. A large charge to get to and from the place in my view is a total farce, why should you have to pay to go to a so called resort when you are paying for the stay there! The tiny so called cottage we had "The Songbird" was shown as a honeymoon room, well it was tiny, drab, dark and depressing. The bedding and towels were very poor quality, the TV ( a big selling point for this room ) only worked 3 out of the 6 nights we were in residence. I my opinion this property is vastly overrated and also vastly overpriced. I spend around 180 night per year in hotels and resorts all around the world, I have stayed in many eco resorts and this one is very very low on my list.

Best stay in palawan
Everything about this place was amazing! It's not a huge 5 star resort but that was the best part. Had less than 16people for the whole stay. It was very quite and relaxing! words can't describe!
From the moment we arrived we fell in love! This place is a must if you're heading to Palawan! It is extremely affordable!, comfortable, and so relaxing. If you're honeymooning or trying to get away from the city, this should be a priority for you! The breakfast was fantastic. It is also the perfect location for the sunset and it sets down the center of the bay. We wanted to stay longer and could not say enough good things about this place. You must see for yourself! Thankyou secret paradise resort! We hope we can stay with you again!

Paradise found
The location is absolutely idyllic and is really as close to a private island paradise you can get. Loved the staff, became friends even and would go back in a heartbeat.

Charming stay with nature
Turtles laying eggs, service and scenery
It's a little tough to reach the place but it is a worthwhile effort to get there. The owner Mark oversees the conservation of the turtles and make effort to share his knowledge with his guest. The manager, Pong, is super friendly and hospitable. Do check out the hideaway beach where you get complete seclusion. The resort only have 7 cottages, hence you will get loads of privacy. The seafood is really fresh and dessert is really nice. Definitely worth a visit to this place if you are in Palawan!!
