Value for money - Good stay!
Hotel's Breakfast was good although options do not change much throughout the week. Since 2005, I have always select Sedona Hotel to stay whenever I travel to Yangon in Myanmar because it is near the Shwedagon Pagoda. Visit Shwedagon Pagoda is one of the fantastic activities in Yangon. There is one new Shopping centre - Myanmar Plaza opposite the Hotel now and i am able do my shopping and taking dinner at the good eating house now. Will continue to stay at Sedona Hotel when i come to Yangon.

Really 5 star Hotel in Yangon
This hotel is having a new wing now, also renovated the existed rooms. it is certainly important as more and more Hotel are coming out in Yangon city so Sedona needed to keep improving. Sedona is not located very near the business area but the surroundings make up for the shortfall. The internet is quite fast and reliable. Breakfast was good although options do not change much throughout the week. I always stay at Sedona Hotel when I travel to Myanmar because it is near the Shwedagon Pagoda as Shwedagon Pagoda is just one of the fantastic sites in Yangon. There is one new Shopping centre just opposite the Hotel now and i am able to find many eating house there and make my shopping much convenient when like to do shopping and taking my dinner outside the Hotel. There is a lake across the road that is great for running. Over the weekend the surrounding of the lake has many activities to take part. There are shops and markets just a short taxi ride away. The new airport is also not too far away so i will stay at Sedona when i visit Yangon again.

Great hotel, bad taste in music
Hotel is quite modern and clean. My room had floor to ceiling windows with a nice view of the pool. Bed is firm and linens felt and smelt clean. My only gripe is the non stop loop of "Brasil la la la" on the speakers wherever you go--the lift lobby, the hallways, the hotel looby, the restaurant, everywhere! It's irritating and annoying. They need a better playlist on their Background Music system. The breakfast buffet is decent with a lots of choices but they failed on their "croissants" The cakes aren't any better.

New wing and Old wing
There is a new wing and old wing hotels at Sedona. I get a free upgrade to new wing and its cool while everything is new. Opposite the street is Myanmar Plaza which is convenient to have foods.

Lackluster breakfast offerings
We got an upgrade to the rooms at the new Inya Wing which were very nice and a steal at the price paid. That said, the offering at the breakfast buffet was disappointing to say the least, in terms of both taste and spread. Also, the younger wait staff could not understand English, which means you had to wait for a senior staff to get you what you need. There were also a couple of electricity trips during our 1 night stay, but I understand this is commonplace in Yangon. In any case, the electricity came back on within a few short minutes, so it was hardly an inconvenience. Still, considering the price and location, I suppose we will stay at the Sedona the next time round.

Very good
Very good except that very few staff speak good English and a lot can be Liston translation.

Business Trip
It was a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff, especially the frontline staff, were fantastic! Good location and conveniently located next to the new Myanmar Plaza.

watch your luggage
My three mont blanc pens where swiped from my carry on bag between arrival and room delivery after a 28 hour trip in the "old" Sedona.. The hotel has an old wing and a new wing. The gym is great and the food is ok.Big place(500+rooms) with a penchant for penny pinching for the price. Absent management.
