the two misses

the best three things were location location location
the staff were very friendly , but the smell in the bathroom was terrible , the food was good except the bacon was so over cooked that you couldn't cut it and they need to serve extra butter with breakfast , overall we enjoyed our stay .....very convenient location .

Would not stay here again

Location, super cold aircon, pool table
I did not enjoy my stay at the paradiso, seminyak. In fact I spent all my spare time just down the road at the Puri Cendana for food and swimming. Where to start? The worst was the staff, hardly speak english and are not interested in helping you at all. No, no no, the worst was the mould in the shower- it was realllllly bad. The pool was pretty bad- there was a layer of sticky black sludge around the top tiles the whole way round. The pool area was shaded buy the massive concrete hotel next door and most of the day was too cold to swim and enjoy the sun. It was also not very inviting giving a feeling of being trapped inside a concrete box as all the way round were big concrete walls with very sparse plants. The pool table was fun, but it was very very out of whack, and the cues dont even have tips on them, just frayed wood which meant any games were strictly to pass time, you couldnt even use it as table practise because the cues were that unreliable. Some good things: the fried rice was yummmmmmm, guava juice at breakfast was nice, they have their own drivers sitting around most of the day who were extremely helpful, spoke great english, were very informative on tours and was priced very well. You can also get a bluebird right out the front as well as the street is very busy. There are multiple massgae places, 7 elevens and pubs outside so you dont have to go far, and the beach is within an easy walk as well. All in all though, I would not stay here again.

Great little spot close to beach

Pool, breakfast, closeness to shops
Room was big and clean. View overlooked the pool. Good size breakfast included in the rate. Fridge in room. No wifi in room as advertised. Stayed 1 night.

What was displayed on the pictures were not what I got for the rooms, the room was old smelt damp, not renovated, the room needed a full renovation, cracked tiles, old fittings, never stay there you want povo rooms then this maybe your place

Great location and value for money

Location. Decent rooms and everything works.
Spacious and functional rooms. Beds weren't too soft and room was made up every day. Great value for money. Don't expect any fancy stuff.

Good location

Location, staff, huge room
I had a Superior room and I was very disappointed with the condition of the room. It is very tired looking and the bathroom was very dingy with mould on tiles and around bathtub. The shower was a rubber hose over an old, water stained bathtub. The photos on the website do not accurately reflect the real condition of the room. The air conditioner was nothing more than a fan as it did not blow cool air at all. On the plus side, there is a kettle and fridge in the room, sheets/towels changed every day, bottled water provided every day. The location is good - 5 mins walk to beach and close to shops/supermarket. My room was quiet considering it was so near to busy main street. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. I later stayed at a 3 star hotel in Ubud which was amazing and far superior to this 3 star hotel. Stay here if you are on a budget.
