comfortable slightly tired city centre hotel

location, good staff, comfy open plan area near bar and reception
although we booked 2 identical rooms we were given 1 with 2 double beds and 1 with 2 single beds, I did not query this whilst there as I had better things to do with our time and my son and wife were ok with their room, the hotel had queried our Agoda booking for 2 family rooms prior to our arrival saying we would not have family rooms but doubles with the ability for 1 child up to 12 years old to share, there seems to be discrepancies between Agoda's presentation of the room types and the hotel's interpretation.

An OK hotel in a good area

Great location, nearby the main attractions in the old town
The hotel is easily reached by bus, train or even boat as it is near the port and the stations. Most of the shops, the Town hall and cathedral are within walking distance and you will enjoy the pleasant walk around the traditional and old streets of Cadiz. The hotel welcomes you with a traditional Andalusian courtyard. Despite being a 4 star hotel, it doesn't feel like a commercial/chain hotel, as it has a rustic style with the facilities of a semi luxurious hotel. The room is big and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. It has a nice Spa but it is charged separated.

good location but too expensive

good location
Friendly staff but too expensive for what they offer. Parking at the hotel is a problem if your car is bigger than a Smart. Our Room was dark with a window only towards the patio.

very good location near bus and train station

Location spa
a very congenial reception room, incorporating the ground floor of the traditional local architecture - two adjacent patio. clean rooms and in good condition. beautiful unobstructed view from the terrace with nice swimming pool. a completely indifferent breakfast with a very smiling and helpful staff at all times. excellent pool facilities, sauna, spa bath in the basement of the hotel, with alternating hot and cold water, large swimming pool with various water flow and many other smaller pools with different facilities (swimming pool with aromatic oils and pool covered the bottom of stones for walking ).

Nice hotell situated in the old part of the city

Very nice patio situated directly after passing the reception. Good resturant including breakfast
A real nice hotell in the old town of Cadiz. Their patio on the ground floor was lovely, but a bit cold due to the extreme outside weather conditions. The restaurant served an excellent supper as well as a extencive breakfast. If I should go to Cadiz in the future I would again check in at the Senator Hotel.

Senator CAdiz Spa Hotel

bien situado, c'entrico, comodo, muchos extras
