Hengsheng Peninsula Int'L Hotel

Hotel staff in good services!
Poor condition of hotel, dirty, the actual environment is totally different with the photo in website. When i get in the hotel, i just think about that : "I need to stay here for my holiday?? Shxt!" . I have no consideration to cancel the order and just paid for one night rental charge and search for another foreign hotel brand.

No good under decoration work

Quiet location, close to the Bund & reasonable price
Since it was being renovated, the hotel lobby is small. No staff is present upon checking out early in the morning.

Reasonable Price for a Solid Room

Good location, clean, and comfortable
I would certainly be willing to stay here again. The staff was helpful in getting a cab for me to the airport, though a few of the staff didn't have the best proficiency in English. The views of the city are nice from rooms on higher floors. There is a Starbucks right across the corner, and you're quite close to the Bund.
Hotel Feature Tip: if your room number ends in 15, you might have to look a little more to find your room around the corner...

was a very dissapointed stay. this hotel is at most a 2 star hotel. check out the next day and pay the same price for a much better hotel down the road at Pravo.

Great locations but rooms old and outdated

close to many restaurants and shopping stores, only 5 minute walk to the Bund
this was once a great hotel genuine 4 star. Due to recent changes the standard has deteriorated to 2 star at best. the location is very convinient but the hotel facilities are not up to a good standard. However if you want to close to everything it can be a suitable place to stay.

Great location and big room

comfortable bed, able to view sightseeing areas
- hotel is a wonderful pick as it is very convenient to famous places such as huangpu river, the bund, nanjing road and yu yuan garden. it has mini mart just on the opposite road to get some snacks. the room is big and spacious as well as the bed is king size single bed. the bathroom is pretty clean and they replace the towels each day. it is worth the price to stay in this hotel as it comfortable and convenient as well as affordable price. in just few metres away able to take the sightseeing bus. the staffs are not really helpful as they cannot speak english much. the carpet in the room is quite dirty. overall it was a good stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: - We came during winter and all the shops as well as sightseeing places including restaurants and sightseeing buses closes between 6pm - 10pm. Start your day early to be able to view more places.
