My favorite hotel in Bangkok

Stylish, good service, right in the chaos but still very quiet
8
Check-in very fast and enjoyable, they give you a cold towelette and a cup of tea while you wait. The rooms are small but cozy, good rain shower. TV and Internet all fine. Breakfast in the morning is good. Standard asian/western buffet mix. Great pork sausages.
Hotel Feature Tip: The hotel is not too well-known by taxi drivers. The hotel website has map you can print out, so do that. Also keep hotel phone number on hand in case driver wants to get directions that way. If either the above fail, it's across the street from The Chinatown Hotel which is better known by the drivers.

Interestin Hotel in the city

Sense of mystery
6.3
Very interesting and quite comfortable. Room a little tight but given that it is in the crowded part of the city, quite understandable.
Restaurant Tip: Hotel is surrounded by restaurants and street side stalls.

Cozy boutique hotel with friendly staffs.

Notalgic setting of hotel make you fell like you're back in the 1920's in Shanghai
8.7
hidden jewel right in the heart of the bangkok hustling and bustling chinatown. hotel close to good restaurants and the river. it also close the bangkok train station and metro with 15 minutes walking distance. room has nostalgic decor of old china and a beautiful indoor pond in the center of the hotel. room and hotel are clean and neat. good breakfast selection, you can just seat in the bar near the entrance to relax and view the busy life in out on the street. would stay again next time in bangkok and recommend for others.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Hop to the river taxi in Rachetwong pier for about 10 minutes walk you can tour most of the scenic places nearby the river, no need to join any tour.

Amazing, boutique hotel with spacious rooms

Close to Chinatown, very comfortable rooms, quirky boutique environment, great!
9.7
If you are looking for a quirky, boutique hotel close to transport and Chinatown with friendly, happy staff .... you just can't go past this place. The rooms are spacious, the king-sized bed is comfy and the atmosphere is amazing. So different to a big hotel, this place has character.
Hotel Feature Tip: The contents of the minibar were complimentary.

ideally located with good breakfast

spacious nice rooms clean and fancy themes
6.7
The hotel is very charismatic with a nice Chinese tone. The room was spacious and clean. The location is very good. It is easy to come and go from the hotel. The breakfast is fantastic. However the ground floor room had no windows and upper floors seems nicer because they are more quiet and have a rest area. The ground floor rooms are in the building lobby so you can be disturbed by the noise of people passing by. Also there was white curtains to hide the light next to the main door but when you sleep the light through the curtains is coming into your eyes and there is no way to hide it. A small detail but if you need complete dark to sleep ensure you get a room with dark curtains next to the main door if you are on the ground floor.
Restaurant Tip: Best noodles on Mahachai road on evenings

Fantastic Hotel situated in China Town.

Decor is just amazing. Beautiful Chinese lanterns decorate the hotel and the rooms. The whole feeling was of traditional Shanghai. Truly stunning.
9.7
Our stay was wonderful. When we walked into the hotel we were greeted by very friendly, helpful staff. The entire experience seems so authentic Chinese. We felt as though we had stepped back in time. The breakfast menu was fantastic. The hotel is a little away from the station (10 mins) but an easy walk. The hotel does supply a free shuttle to the station and nearby shopping centres. Book for the rides early as the vehicle (tuk tuk) fills quickly.
Travel tip: Great place from which to explore the back streets of China Town. Get off the Main Street and wander around. Someone said there is nothing to see there but they were so wrong. So many local food stalls, markets etc. very friendly helpful people as well.

Lots of character

Wonderful hotel in china town with a 1930s Siam feel
8.3
If you want a place with just that little extra...stay here. Great design, superb lobby all near a fun street market and sea food "street restaurant". They even have a free one way shuttle to the Grand Palace.

Booked this hotel on a whim from reviews off tripadvisor. Romantic hotel indeed. Chinese art-deco throughout. Very nice.
Shopping Tip: Chinatown is just outside.
