Convenient at the centre of Tokyo

location, cheap and cleanliness

it is clean and quiet hotel. Guests are well behave, quiet and seldom smoke at the common room. Convenient with 600m walking to Shinjuku Sanchome and very near to Isetan. Except one female Chinese staff was quite rude, other experience was great so far.

For 1 night only

The location was pretty good, near to kabuki cho.
5.7
Felt like sardines packed in a tin. Bed was close to the ladies shower and couldn't sleep from the sounds around of people going in and out. The worst thing in the capsule itself was definitely the bed. If you are a tall girl or guy like myself, may not be suitable as you can't stretch your legs. Request for room far from toilet.

Try it if you never tried before

Clean and hood location

Poor bed quality resulting in severed sleepless night and also too noisy and crowded during bath time. Suggest to rest only after midnight.

Superb experience for a solo traveler

Everything!

I was traveling solo with really tight schedule and stayed there for 6 nights. This was my first time in real authentic Japanese capsule hotel and it was incredible! Pros: + Great authentic capsule experience. Despite lack of door (curtain only) you feel that you have your own private space when you're inside the capsule. + There's controllable light in the capsule, one AC socket, alarm clock, small shelf and a TV with some channels. There's even a free p*rn channel! (press BAND) + Spa section was so great after a long hot walking day! There's everything you can expect from a typical spa: sauna, showers, baths with cold and hot water, bath with water massage, disposable razors, toothbrushes and etc. + Lounge section is really nice. It has everything you need for a relaxation, even vending machines with beer and cup noodles. + Locker is not so big, my backpack nearly got in, but was enough. If you have big luggage you can put it on the shelf and leave it there even when you check out, but all responsibility is upon you. + Very clean. (Cons): - You have to check-out by 10AM everyday even if you stay multiple nights. You can check-in again only from 4PM. For me with my tight schedule that was not a problem. This is just how their system works, you should understand this. - There's a lot of comments about rude staff (especially some old guy) but I believe this is the clients to blame, not the staff. For me they did a pretty decent service and explained how to use the hotel. The only thing that was "rude" to me is that once when I spoke to that "old guy" in Japanese he kept answering to me in English :) - If someone snores or speaks in a capsule somewhere near you - you will hear it. Rooms, lounge, toilets - everything is common. You should just accept this if you want to book a capsule. - There's a thin mattress in the capsule so the bottom is a little bit hard when you sleep, but I got used to it. I recommend everyone to try capsule hotel at least once!

Good location , value for money

unlike all the reviews I read saying staff are rude , I had a good time there and the staff were friendly too. The key point is you need to follow the rules as so many guests staying there. The bath area is lovely , they provide every basic thing that you may need daily . The quality of shampoo soup razor toothbrush ... are good . The service is good and clean. You need to check out everyday at 10 or 11 ( can't remember ) but you can leave your luggage there . Walking distance to Shinjuku station ( 10min) and lovely road behind hotels with lots of small and cute bars . I do recon and this place as its value for money. But it's nightmare to find it as there is no signage outside . It's in Toyo building and look on the top of the building there is a vertical sign written Toyo.Take a lift and go up. Downstairs in the road there is a Chinese restaurant .Hopr you find it easily .

the best capsule stay

all inclusive, sleepwear, toiletries, locker, storage

Amazing. But need to pack bags every night even continuous but can get crowded in bathroom and locker room as the place gets fully booked. tv in capsule. First night i had one capsule without lights or tv. Second night was fine apart from some dumb girl left her keychain on her wrist and rattled everyone awake at 6am.

Guys have lockers, washroom and sleep area all on 3 different levels. Communal area for both males and females is level 4, has good restaurant, smoking area, tv lounge, laundry and food vending machines

Staff should be a little more friendly.

Pajamas, toiletries, toilet

Staff was rude and did now give a thoroughly explaination on rules of the hotel.

Wouldn't stay again

Location
6.3
A little too noisy at night especially when there are so many people staying in a floor, and people love to shower at unearthly hour in the midnight. Really gets on my nerve when it gets too noisy when i was trying to sleep. And i find the leave-the-hotel from 10-4pm rule quite ridiculous because sometimes i wished i could head back for a nap but i can't. Location wise was still acceptable, just 10 minutes walk from shinjuku subway stations, pretty convenient. Just that it might get a little dangerous at night because it's near the red light district and there are bars and pubs just behind the hotel.
