Airport Limousine stops here, plugs, Shinjuku

This is my fourth or fifth stay here. It is easy as the airport limousine stops here. However, if you want to take metro or JR, you need to walk 10 mins from the station. Located in Shinjuku is a plus as you may not need to go any other places for shopping. Next to the hotel has a Yamada Wine store when it has lots of variety of wine to choose and the price is reasonable. I am just surprise that the desk provides a multi-plug for your iPhone, camera, power bank to be charged at the same time together. So, this is the first time i see in a three star hotel. The hotel is built for your convenience where the check out is really fast and it has lockers, family mart, a few restaurants and a sauna place to serve your need.

A bit far to walk. Convenient limo bus pick-up n drop-off at airports. Great fuss on room keys; guesfs constantly reminded abt hefty fine if keys lost. Stingy in issuing keys. Only a key for two guests per room until request made for additional.

We had a great stay. The location is super close to restaurants & bars as well as a short walk to the train station. You're opposite the Tokyo Metropolitan Building (45th level is observation deck) & also near the SHINJUKU Central Park and Kumano Shrine. The staff at the front desk & information are very helpful.

Have stayed at this hotel many times when visited Tokyo, this time the hotel is under renovation, probably preparing for the 2020 Olympics. We were glad to see the wallpaper, door handle, curtains and some furnitures have been refurbished in the room, and we could not hear noises from the renovation at all. However, the housekeepers/cleaners could have done a better job as we found some dirty spots were not wiped properly e.g. behind the water taps on the sink, top of the wall unit of the hair dryer was full of dust etc. Although the hotel is about 15 minutes walk to Shinjuku station, there is an underground walkway, this will be a benefit if it rains as you won't get caught in the rain. The walkway also connects to Odakyu Dept Store and Keio Dept Store. For breakfast option, there are fast food chains just a few minutes walk from the hotel, therefore we never have breakfast at the hotel. We'll definitely choose to stay at Washington in our future trips, but hope that it won't increase it's rates after renovation.

Poor Customer Service

location where Limousine bus has a stop there.

The room is very small despite it's anticipated in Tokyo. Comparatively, the room in Shinjuku Washington is smaller than general standard. Most disappointed is the poor customer services by the receptionist, particulary those in night shift. They are not helpful at all. The Hotel offers poor service policy that they could not keep a luggage for their customers for 1 more night once they checked out. It's totally not customer friendly and not a policy to most Hotels to meet a very common request of customers to keep their luggage in City, while they may stay a night in other scenic countryside before they then return to City and get a flight off.
