It is on-water resort, so you cant go anywhere worth the money
Friendly staff, the resort is really far from Nyaung Shwe so think carefully before booking, they have a restaurant in resort to with lots of choices and acceptable price. The room is clean, with outdoor bathroom, indoor bathroom and bathtub.

Well worth the money spent
Staying on Inle lake was a highlight of our trip to Myanmar. Low season prices are well worth it. No Tv, intermittent WiFi but total relaxation. Yes,' the prices were higher than in Nuang Shwe but it's nice to get away from the noise and traffic there. Great good and super clean swimming pool made a pleasant stay. The bungalows are bright and the view is fantastic. The noise of the boats gets tuned out after some cocktails at happy hour.

Amazing stay
We had an amazing stay. Staff was very helpful especially with my mother who needed support when getting in/out of the boats to the entrance. Some points to note: we went in Early June, and it is monsoon season, so beware if you're afraid of insects, as they were quite a few after sunset in the bathroom and room. The water from the sink and shower had a certain smell so you'll need to get used to it. As this is the only place we stayed in Inle, I'm not sure if all the other resorts have a similar smell since it is after all in the middle of a lake! The pressure from the shower head wasn't very strong either so it took me almost double the time to shower. Again, not sure if it was only my room or a common problem across all rooms and resorts considering the fact that is is in the middle of the lake!

Very relaxing stay
I don't think this hotel deserves some of the bad reviews I've read online - we stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. Yes the food is slightly more expensive than elsewhere, buy given you cannot leave the hotel at night this is something you just have to deal with. The food is pretty good though, and we were quite happy to pay the extra $1 per dish. The location is very relaxing and great for seeong the sights the lake has to offer.

Nice view of Sunrise and Sunset
The hotel is among the lake so using a boat is the only way to reach the hotel and back the town (ard 15USD for a single ride), everything is quite good, but there were alot of mosquitos

it deserves 11/10 !
We are travelers from France, and stayed for three days at Shwe Inn Tha. It is amazing !! A quick summary of all the great stuff they did for us: - they got a boat driver to come pick us up at 4am at the bus station in Nyaungshwe (50 minute boat trip from there to the resort, 15US$ but it's the only way) - early check in at no cost - gave us fresh fruits at arrival which are incredible - the comfort is perfect, really unexpected - staff is friendly (I even played chess with their barman who was really good !) - everything was done to make it a perfectly romantic stay The only negative point was the water smell from the shower. They don't filter the water so it smells. You should use cold water if you want to minimize this. You don't need any kyats as they set a tab for you in usd and you can pay everything at the end by credit card. A must go!
