First time at Silka Johor Bahru
What you need in a hotel room are there except there are no toothbrushes and a bathroom floor mat. The management needs to better their maintenance as the bathroom door has a broken door knob and the aircon control has a missing knob for its fan speed control in the room which we stayed in. Other than that, it's quite comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful and automatically extended our checkout time from 12 noon to 1 pm. The nearest convenient stalls / supermarkets are about 10 minutes walk away, considering the traffic speed and flow at the road junctions where the hotel is situated. Would book this hotel again, if we drive as it's not that convenient getting there.

Room carpet very dirty need change. Toilet basin spoil. Toilet shower fitting lose out. toilet wall fungus and dirty. But outside facilities and breakfast are still ok. Need fully renovation.

Many times stayed in silka hotel for the past years since the old management were pleasant. This is the first time encountered my last weekend staycation at silka..me and my family with my small kids need to change rooms for four times due to the cleanliness and the toilet water heater spoiled..also the beds not tidy and dirty.

They really need to improve on their cleaning process
Room is fine as I booked lower category (without window) but room cleaning need to be improve. Staff was not really friendly as they are hard to smile or wo wish the guest.
