Great place!
Got a really good last minute deal, excellent cozy hotel in a really great area, lots of cool bars and stuff to eat literally out the door. Close to Shinjuku but with a really laidback vibe, the staff was lovely.

Good Hotel
Of the four hotels I stayed in over my trip to Japan, the staff here spoke the best English, and were friendly and helpful, printing off my bus ticket to get to the airport. In the entrance to the hotel there were lots of maps and leaflets which were useful for planning trips around Tokyo. The room itself was small (as is normal in Tokyo!) but fine, as we didn't spend much time in there, just sleeping. The hotel is out of the most central parts, but Asagaya itself is a cool area, with lots of quaint Japanese bars/restaurants etc. This area was actually one of my favourites in Tokyo! Transport connections are good, with the train stop right outside the hotel. Overall, value for money.
