Great food,bad room
food,staff and location
I was give a room right next to a busy kitchen, far to noisy. I paid $27.50 per night which was unacceptable. The bed was broken underneath. Unfortunately they didnt have another room.

Good base for downtown exploration
Security, expat scene, pleasant owner and staff
Snooky's is a good spot if you're going to be downtown; it's a manageable walk (0.7km) to Ekreach Street (restaurants, travel agencies) and several blocks farther to the central market. Roy, the owner, is very friendly and will likely come introduce himself and check up on you periodically. His purple-uniformed staff at the bar & restaurant are also pleasant. The restaurant serves adequate but sometimes strangely prepared meals (e.g., a burger is chunks of spiced beef; a curry is simply coconut milk and butter). The sun makes walking to the beaches (at least several km) too oppressive, so you'll need to arrange a tuktuk ($3) or rent a motorbike somewhere for $5/day to go anywhere else. The rooms are set well back from the bar and are quiet and secure, but power outages were common during our stay and our A/C wasn't any more effective than a fan. Expect cleanliness (and the occasional gecko) without frills (the sink drains directly on the bathroom floor). The bar features a strong scene of older expats; if you're into connecting with these folks, it's the best reason to stay here.

Nice stay
1.Close to the bus station, 2. Clean and spacious room, 3. Friendly staff
It was a very nice stay in Snooky's. We were lucky to arrive on a Saturday when the band played live music. It's located in a quiet street where we can enjoy the music and Cambodian beers. The owner was very friendly and helpful in looking for information for us. It's also walkable to the beach and the city market and stuffs. Will come back definitely!

Review of Snooky's Guest House
Cheap, the owner is nice and the room is spacy.
You pay for what you get. I think the price is fair but the service is not very satisfactory. Especially , the breakfast service. It can take more than 35 minutes for them to prepare your breakfast.

Good place, friendly staff
Great breakfast, friendly staff, big rooms with TV.
Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Lots went wrong with my booking(not their fault) but they were very helpful and gave us a great place to stay. Not near the beach if that's your thing, about 2.5km.

Friendly British pub and guesthouse
Food, atmosphere, service
On the edge of downtown Sihanoukville, not much in the immediate area, but close to banks, markets etc. Room was large and clean, had tv, fridge and aircon. Run by friendly Englishman Roy, bar / restaurant was excellent value, large servings of English and Thai / Khmer food. Nightly events - darts, pool tourney, trivia etc. Great option for staying in town.
