a stay in Sofia Hotel, Hua Hin

Helpful staff, good location, clean room.
A feel of tranquility. We ride arround on a motorbike, like in our hometown.

spacious, public Ipads, location
Hotel dated, rooms shoddy- doors and windows did not fit. My room was on the top floor where there were two rooms at the end of a staircase - Fire escape? Location good but place closed late so you had to let yourself in through the back door. Would have preferred a 24 hour security. Only stayed one night.

Did what it said on the tin

Good location, pretty cheap for Hua hin
Once I found Sofia (used to be called Top marks apparently) I found location good , if you have your back to burger king just walk in a fairly straight line. Hua hin is quite small and expensive compared to pattaya. Room was top floor but had a balcony and was pretty quiet. Would stay again

It was alright

close to the beach, close to shops and restaurants, you can use internet as much as you want
I got the cheapest room so there was no bathroom in my room. The room was very too dark, it had a window but if you open the curtain people would be looking straight into your room and when you shut the curtain, the light was way too dark. It wasn't the cleanest room. I loved how they got many iPads for you to use for free as much as you want and computers for Skype etc. Staffs weren't the friendliest ones, to be fair.

Good location, Not value for money

Good location
The hotel locates in good location, close to the beach and close to night market. However, the room is poor. The matress is old, furniture is old as well. No breakfast is provided.

Clean, nice breakfast

Location, great breakfast
We stayed here about five days and we would stay again. Friendly staff and a good breakfast. Great location that was walking distance to everything!

Best for single male traveller

clean rooms, reasonable location
the staff were the least friendly of any hotel we stayed in, no hello, goodbye or smile. the room itself was nice and clean but one of the beds was quite uncomfortable with springs poking up. the location is pretty good, 10 mins walk to the north end of the beach and 5 mins walk from bars and restaurants. 5 mins from the night market. there seemed to be a lot of older single men in the bar downstairs, not really a family environment. the breakfast in the restaurant was good - western breakfasts very good if you like that. wouldn't recommend to families.
