Phenomenal resort

Great service, friendly staff, beautiful location
Wonderful 4 day weekend stay. Had great food and the hot tub in the room was awesome! Great views and perfect for a romantic getaway. The only fault was flaky wifi.

One of the best hot spring resort!

Resort with a view from the top, clean rooms & accommodating staff
The stay was great. Great for families with kids. Cabana is a good choice to stay in. Night swimming is ideal since natural hot spring were used.

Resort in a hill

Location, cleanliness, friendly staff
Good. A bit disapointed with the pool as it is unappealing. Not much activity in the resort. I am expecting they would have bigger pools. Our room was clean and the staff are all friendly and attentive to our needs.

Nice location, staff were very accommodating.

Location, the cabanas with its own hot spring jacuzzis, food
Nice and pleasant. My cabana has its own jacuzzi. So i did not have to join in the outside pools.

let down

location, location, location
my stay was below average, upon our initial arrival we decided to have lunch where i was served a raw hamburger, don't get me wrong i can appreciate rare meat probably more than the majority of people, but it's rare to find it done right esp in the philippines. this is mainly due to the lack of good quality sources. regardless, upon sending my blood soaked plate back they proceeded to reserve the same burger, but properly cooked this time. they did not however, bother to change the hamburger bun which had soaked up the majority of the blood. having waited long enough i decided to eat just the meat and leave the bloody bread. next let down, the pools. if you are coming to this place to enjoy natural springs (which is why we went there) and you like hot springs, i cannot recommend this establishment. the two pools are a lukewarm 38* c and that's as hot as it gets. there is still ongoing construction so hopefully the lower pools will be an improvement. the staff dresses the part but doesn't quite fill the shoes of decent concierge service. we were there on new year's and the room we did have overlooked laguna bay and the fireworks and view was great! the dinner buffet for new years featured cold served lechon and other sub-par foods. due to my earlier experience i decided to just gorge myself on the fruits which i must say were fresh and acceptable. however i feel their restaurant should be where the bar is as it has a better vantage point and those dining would probably appreciate the view more so than the drunkards of the bar. overall, i was dissatisfied due to the cold pools, they shouldn't have spent all their money on the artificial waterfall, they should have developed the pools especially ones you could call hot and this place would be amazing. hopefully someone making the calls there will read this, although the majority of these experiences especially the bad ones were voiced to the complacent staff who didn't have a clue how to resolve anything.

great view of mouny makiling

hotspring, jacuzzi inside room, great view of mount makiling
I saw some yellow stains on the bedsheet inside cabana room. There is small brown stain on the towel. I saw an ant inside the bedsheet. I got biten by a mosquito during sleep - one on my finger and the other one on my forehead. We went there on Monday. The waterfalls were not operational then. There are three hotspring pools. Only the small pool is heated 40 degrees. The staff said that the bigger pool will be heated after 30 minutes but the temperature of it still remain the same after 30 minutes. The other hotspring pool was drained. In effect, there was only 1 heated pool at 40 degrees. Barrio fiesta, which serves filipino foods, was great. I enjoyed the great view of mount makiling and the cold air.
