Good location, suitable for a single night stay

location, helpful staff, comfortable beds
The hotel is around 5-minute walk from the Baker Street tube station. The street in which it is located is easy to find but the hotel door is not quite visible especially when there is construction work on the outer wall of the building. The receptionist is usually not at the lobby counter so you always have to ring the bell to get help. Our room is located on the third floor and we had to take the staircase to get there. It may be quite a problem if you are carrying your luggage. We arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in time, placed our luggage at the reception and came back at around 11PM. The room was ready and the staff had our luggage placed in the room in advance. The room is spacious, with two double beds and one single bed. It did not provide any toiletries except tissue paper. The room is a little old but generally OK because it is within expectation. The toilet had a little bad smell and the lock of the toilet door is out of order and my friend almost locked herself from within. The floor is a bit tilted but it is not a big issue. The wooden floor and staircase make quite a loud noise since the building is pretty old I suppose. The breakfast room is located in the basement, and the hotel provides simple breakfast like cornflakes, bread and juices.

Not that bad as I thought...

near the Underground, near Oxford Street, in a good district
I was supposed to find dirt everywhere, bad beds and pillows...I'm not saying that it is the best hotel ever, but it is comfortable and it has everything you need to sleep for three-four days. I suggest to wake up early enough in the morning, just to find out something to eat for breakfast. But the hotel is near to the Marylebone Underground and Tesco, if you need to buy something for lunch or dinner.

Pleasantly Surprised

Location, Cleanliness, Customer Service
Only checked in for the night as missed my train back home. Hotel is very centrally located and is value for money when you consider you are staying in Marylebone. The continental breakfast was simple but that was included for free, there was a cooked breakfast menu which was great (would recommend the peanut butter an banana french toast). Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area (even printed me a map of where i was heading. Rooms where an ok size baring in mind its central london but most importantly they where clean. Will definitely be returning
