Not the nicest part of town
Quiet, simple.
This hotel was of low quality, but we paid a low price so sometimes you get what you pay for. The staff were friendly and smiled a lot, but there was only one girl who could converse with us. The beds were uncomfortable with thin mattresses so you could feel all the springs in the base underneath you and the air-conditioning was effective, but noisy. The location was in a suburbia type area we thought as there were no other tourists around, it was poorly lit and when we went out to find food there was many locals staring openly at us. There was a little restaurant down the street where I got a quick takeaway, but felt very uncomfortable in the short time we waited for the food as the place fell silent when we arrived and stayed that way until we left. We then spent the rest of the evening watching Cambodian tv and planning to leave early for another hotel for the next night.

Lovely place in the city
Nice staff and very cleas
The room we got in the hotel was not that spacious and well equiped but definitely was very clean. The biggest advantage of the place is definitely staff. Very helpful, open and always trying to help although their English is not always the best. Hotel is located downtown but a bit away from area where most tourist live.

Good place for a short stay
Clean rooms
Charmless but clean rooms in this hotel which is a bit far from the touristic area of Phnom Penh but you can easily get a tuk tuk to go anywhere you want. Even though the staff does not speak a very good english, they did their best to help us during our stay. To conclude, it's a good place for a short stay.

Nothing special
...
The hotel is not in the center, for me it s ok because i like walking. The room was ok but the wifi doesn t work. The big problem was the construction just side by side with the hotel that woke up me all days around 7am. The staff are very friendly but only one ladie speak english.

A horrible place to stay
People at the front desk at least try to help you, but cannot
-There was a continue noise from the receptionists, the street and the mainbuilding and few bars further away until 02h00 in the night and the noise start again from 04h00 in the morning. -There was no soap, toiletpaper and you need to ask several times for new towels (it take every time like 2 hours before you got them) -The room was not clean and the bathroom is never cleaned before, there was no window in the bathroom, although only a broken mosquito net, plenty of mosquitos and other animals can get inside your room. -Also there is no warm water and many things are broken. -The hotel is not used for holiday of a long stay, mostly some Cambodian lovers come to use a room for a few hours.

If you're renting by the hour...
Cheap
We thought we purchased a double bed but we were taken to a room with two twin beds, one of which had a wet spot in the middle of it. The bathroom floor was covered in water, a still-wet bar of soap and a few hairs. We went downstairs and asked for a room with a double bed, not bothering to mention the fact that the room had clearly just been "used" because there was too much of a language barrier. While we were waiting for a room with a double bed to open up, a man and a woman (customers, not hotel employees) came downstairs and the man handed a key to the front desk. The woman at the front desk said some things into the walkie talkie and then handed that same key to me telling me that the room was ready. Obviously that wasn't enough time to change the sheets let alone do a thorough cleaning but we were tired so we just dealt with it. I reserved the room for two nights but decided to just eat the cost of the room for the second night rather than staying there another night. I know this is an inexpensive room and you might be tempted to think "You get what you pay for.", but I'm in my third month of travelling very cheaply around SE Asia and this is my first time running into anything like this.

Bad Place far from River, where most tourist stay.
Not really cheap, you can get place at river with a/c for $10
we booked through agoda to make sure we have a place when we land. This place is way off, 1 hr walk if you want to walk to river where all the action is, there is nothing around this place. Bathrooms smelled bad. Room just had a fan, and we couldn't sleep most of the night. Amazingly enough, while we were out dining, someone cut with a knife my back pocket to tr to get my wallet. It is really not a secure area, book near or on the river, where there is much more security, where you will feel safe.

value for money
friendly staff
ok this is what you pay for, it is in the heart of the city, we got strange looks every street we walked down but there is lots of guest houses around, quite a distance to the main tourist area, nice spacious rooms and the staff here are extremely helpful.
