The hotel is in the center of Palermo Boulevard, very close to the parks and lakes, and the city center is within easy reach from the nearby metro station. The Torre Cristofo Colombo in Buenos Aires has large, elegantly furnished apartments in Italian style with well maintained bathrooms, kitchenettes and satellite TV. The in-house restaurant serves excellent regional and international cuisine and leisure options include an outdoor pool, sauna and Jacuzzi.

I was fairly dubious when booking the room, as it was very cheap. When I arrived at the hotel, the friendly staff helped me with my luggage into a room that far exceeded my expectations. It's definately not 5 star material, but for the price you get a more than adequate lodging. There was even fruit on the table for me. The staff were always happy to help with any query I had. I probably wouldn't recommend staying in Palermo over the Recoleta/Retiro area, but if you decide to stay here, you can't go wrong with the Hotel Cristoforo Colombo.

Nightlife Tip: Don't go during the christmas/new year period.

Tolle Lage, mitteler Zustand und Service

- Ideale Lage fuer eine Nacht zwischen zwei Fluegen nach/von Aeroparque - Ausstattung des Zimmers sehr gut mit Kochmoeglichkeit, Adapter, WiFi, grossem Bett - Zustand meines Zimmers und insbesondere des Bades haette eher 2-3 Sterne verdient, aber nicht 4 (vielleicht bin ich zu sehr an europaeische Standards gewoehnt) - Einchecken effizient und freundlich, jedoch bekam ich trotz Anfrage ueber Agoda und Nachfragen beim Einchecken kein ruhiges Zimmer - Die Tuer vom Austritt (das war kein Balkon) schloss nicht richtig, so dass die Strasse stark zu hoeren war - Grosser Faux-pas: der fuer 3.30 Uhr bestellte Weckruf kam nicht, der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption schien erst wach zu werden, als ich auschecken wollte - Agoda-Voucher wurde nicht als solcher erkannt, es brauchte einige Diskussionen
