not recommended- very noisy construction next door

Wouldn't recommend this place as construction is occurring next door. Had we not pre-paid we would have gone elsewhere. Construction - as in knocking next door down - takes place between 8.30am-6pm so you have no chance of enjoying your room during that time or taking a siesta. Highly disappointed.

had a nice stay here. rooms were a good size, everything was clean and comfortable and (most of all) the location is great. it's in a residential part of recoleta, close to plenty of restaurants and cafes and things to do (site-seeing, shopping, nightlife, etc). and safe enough to walk around in all directions.
small hotel, which is good and fits into the neighborhood, but that has its disadvantages sometimes. the hojo doesn't have a concierge and the advice from the front desk wasn't the best. but they are friendly, spoke decent english and tried to be helpful.

Stayed there for 3 night in February. The hotel rooms are spacious, the bed is great and room and bath room are very clean. There is a "gym" too but it comprises of very few devixes only.
The hotel is perfectly situated in Recolata so very convenient for exploring this "barrio". Metro stations are also not too far away.
The value for money is decent and adequate.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Cementario de Recoleta: The Graveyard is a must see in Buenos Aires and is very closely situated to the hotel.

Good hotel, however they have a poor breakfast, good location, and very nice and kind staff. The room was very nice, clean and quite big with a LCD TV.Despite de fact that I stayed only two days, I did not use the Hotel SPA, however it was a little bit small.I recommend this hotel for a short stay. The shower was not good enough.Internet are avaiable only for two persons.

This is a jewel in Buenos Aires! Hidden in the safe, walkable district of Recoleta in BA, the HoJo is unbeatable for the great price. I don't want to write a review because we want to stay here again and don't want to let others know about this place for fear that they would then raise their prices (I hope they don't!).
It's clean, sleek, perfectly located, and the staff is exceptional! Too bad that the stellar workers don't wear name tags because I wanted to commend one of them, but never knew his name. He's the evening front desk worker (not Sebastian, although they're all helpful and great).
This is the best and you can't find a better place for the price!

hotellet har ett centralt, men ändå lugnt läge i recoleta. trevlig personal som är uppmärksam och hjälpsam men aldrig påträngande. vi uppskattade mycket att vi erbjöds dusch flera timmar efter det att vi checkat ut och skulle resa iväg en hel natt. bra frukost jämfört med de flesta andra hotell i det mindre formatet i argentina. enda irritationsmoment: inga engelskspråkiga nyhetskanaler bland de ca 60 kanaler som erbjöds.
Restaurant Tip:
Bra restaurang, Brut Nature, tvärsöver gatan.
