Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. Location is near perfect. Helpful staff. Great breakfast.
Not much of a view out the window.
Half a block from Florida street, the main center of a pedestrian mall network that extends for miles. Plenty of restaurants, stores, etc. 3 subway lines within a block or two make it easy to get around town. A short block south of the main street that goes between the president's building and congress (at the president's end, the Casa Rosada). Lots of protests in the neighborhood, but the protests are not violent. Even when they're banging drums, I could barely hear them in my room (strangely enough, in the bathroom through the fan ventilation).
Restaurant Tip : I ate 4 days in a row at a restaurant called El Guacho. Steak dinner and a drink for $7.50 US. It's on a street in the pedestrian mall, west of Florida, not too far from the thing that looks like the Washington Monument.

Central location.
Rooms are very clean and have a fresh look.
Breakfast has a few hot options (omlet and bacon/sausages) as well as all the usual cold stuff.
Most staff speaks good English
Free Wi-Fi in most rooms (ask for the lower floors if this is a must for you)
Hotel neighborhood does not look very safe at night - a taxi is recommended
The noise from the street could wake you at 7 or 8am.
We stayed in this hotel twice - for 3 nights when we arrived in Argentina and for 1 night on our way back. Our experience was very good, we haven't had any major problems during our stay, the staff was helpful and most of them could speak English which is not very common in Argentina. The rooms are modern and quite adeqate for a 4* hotel, breakfast has a lot of options, including a few hot ones. The only disappoinments were poor wireless connection in our 6th floor room (which worked OK from both the 5th floor and reception) and the noise from the street, which could wake you earlier then you'd like to. Also as I understood there are no rooms fit for 3 adults - be sure to check in advance if you want a triple.
To sum it up - this is a very reasonably priced and centrally located hotel that really earned its four stars category.
Restaurant Tip : The famous (and reasonably priced) Cafe Tortoni is within a 5-minute walk from the hotel and is highly recommended
Very successful Election

Close to everything staff very attentive Breakfast very good
I chose this hotel for its good location, well turned out, one block had the Plaza de Mayo and Av de Mayo. Very near the Bus had Turistico we use to make a quick visit to Buenos Aires. Also we had four blocks from the new AV July by where they spend the majority of groups that also use to go to La Plata.
