Bedroom was smart and nicely decorated and the location of the hotel was really good, central and close to restaurants, shops and lots of the tourist areas. The breakfast was good as well and included in the room price.
The staff weren't very friendly, the bathrooms were small and old fashioned, rooms were a lot smaller than seemed, view from room was not great. We arrived after a very long and tiring bus journey from the other side of the country an hour before check in and the receptionist rudely told us there was no chance of an early check-in and sent us away even though check out time that morning was 3 hrs previous so rooms must have been ready!
The hotel was ok for an overnight stay but was not the experience we had hoped for, looking for a nice smart hotel we found it to be a lot smaller, less attractive inside the rooms (especially bathrooms) than we had hoped. Also, we arrived after a very long and tiring bus journey from the other side of the country an hour before check in and the receptionist rudely told us there was no chance of an early check-in and sent us away even though check out time that morning was 3 hrs previous so rooms must have been ready! We felt that a little more help or at least a more friendly response would have been nice!
However the rooms themselves were nice and the bed comfy.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A trip outside of the main busy city area to Palmero is well worth while, lots of lovely restaurants, cafes and attractive streets.
