friendly staff but very noisy hotel

This is a boutique hotel with very few rooms (which were quite dusty). As it's a small property, the noise is quite immediate when other guests either smoke or talk right outside your door. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are after peace and quiet.

Great location in Palmero. We enjoyed the cosiness of the hotel (low number of rooms), and all the staff knew us even though we only stayed a few days. Great recommendations from the staff about restaurants, sightseeing etc. Would definitely stay again.

Cute hotel with very friendly and helpful staff

we stayed in rugantino for one week and came recommended. we had a nice room (no. 7) and really enjoyed our stay. the staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful and really made the difference during our stay. i guess there are many boutique hotels in palermo, but i doubt with such staff.
they helped us with recommendations on sightseeing, dining tips and even arranged copa america tickets including transport to la plata.
it also made up for the fact that it does get noisy from time to time (especially on weekends). especially on our last night saturday, we heard the music from the neighboring bar until the late morning.
the breakfast room is almost like a living room and the breakfast is small, but good.
Restaurant Tip:
Social La Lechuza (only one block away) for a home-style diner and great parilla.
