Decent hotel, good value for money

This is a decent hotel, in a safe area of BA (Recoleta). The hotel is a bit dated, but the rooms are large and we had one with a private bathroom. The bathroom was across the hall but this was fine. The breakfast was basic but absolutely fine for what we wanted. Only slight annoyance was not having a key to the front door ourselves so having to ring the bell and wait for the receptionist to come and let us in several times a day!

Typisch Argentijns hotel

Hotel Vida Baires is een schattig, knus hotel gelegen in de chiquere wijk Recoleta. We hebben hier met plezier een paar nachten geslapen. De stijl is typisch Argentijns, gietijzer, balkonnetje, hoge plafonds etc. Ook was de kamer schoon en de mensen die er werken vriendelijk. Wel wat kleine minpuntjes: zo was de kamer wel aan de kleine kant (voor ons niet zo'n probleem omdat we er toch alleen sliepen) en het ontbijt is ook typisch Argentijns: crossaintjes, cake en dulce de leche. Het smaakte lekker maar de keus was beperkt. Toch raad ik dit hotel aan voor een lang weekend Buenos Aires!

Pitoresco, bem localizado e simpatia
Simpatia e esmero no atendimento. Pitoresco, pois trata-se de uma casa de 1900 adaptada para um bed and breakfast.

Excelente a localização, bem ali no coração da Recoleta, numa tranquila rua arborizada e residencial.
O pessoal é de uma simpatia incrível. O conforto deixa um pouco a desejar, sobretudo pelas camas e adaptação da casa para hotel.
O ponto mais fraco é o café da manhã. Melhor se virar num dos maravilhosos cafés da Recoleta para reforçar o desjejum.
Shopping Tip:
A Avenida Santa Fé é a mais movimentada da Recoleta e tem ótimas opções de compras, desde roupas e calçados até os famosos alfajozes tipicamente argentinos.
