The Panoramic has been in Iguazu for ages and has the arguably best location in the city (excluding the Sheraton outside the city). Unfortunately, the general attitude of the has that certain "we don't really need you, we have managed fine for years" attitude inherited in most employees, which is quite sad because the place does have a lot of potential.
The breakfast is really nice, but the lobby bar (lunch) is not recommended - it is way over priced and the quality is mediocre.
Finally, a small thing, but 5 star Hotels should not charge for WiFi - it's greedy (especially at nearly USD 10 a day!).
Hotel Feature Tip:
I would recommend the Crucero Norte (same as the bus company) instead - it's only 4 starred, compared to the 5 of the Panoramic, but we found it far superior.

Close to town and my room had a good view

Reasonable service but had to pay extra for in-room wi-fi which was a bit harsh. The room was well appointed,but the mini bar was not restocked for the duration of my three night stay.

The Panoramic hotel is located just a short walk from the centre of town, but with the large grounds and lovely pool and spa, feels like it's miles away. The view across the river to Brazil and Paraguay adds to the feeling of being out on the edge of the forests.
The reception staff are extremely helpfull and accomodating and allowed us to check in early and check out late.

Very friendly staff with good clean rooms, It was very easy to walk from hotel into the town of Iguazu. Taxi rank on the same road as the hotel if required. Resturant had a good choice and food was very good.
Hotel has a Casino that was surprisingly busy at night.Pool area lovely to relax and enjoy the vista.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Catch the local bus out to the falls. 10 peso/ person. Iguazu falls is well set up and easy to spend the day.

Hotel staff very friendly. Free wireless in the main lobby area. Rooms and bathroom clean. Easy to walk from the hotel into the town or to the bus station. Pool area look great although we did not get enough time to use it. Food in the resturant was vey good with lots of good wines available.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walk into the town and bus station to travel out to Iguazu falls. Ask hotel staff for the directions.

sehr teures massentourismus-hotel mit grossen eintage-reisegruppen.
den ganzen tag lang fahren cars rein und raus, unmittelbar am schwimmbad, da gleich neben schwimmbad der haupteingang ist. cars lassen dabei wegen klimaanlage motor stundenlang laufen. hotel ist rund um die uhr für das im hotel betriebene casino offen, darum laufen ständig casinobesucher im hotel und schwimmbadbereich rum, sehr störend und lärmig.
frühstück lässt zu wünschen übrig, immer leer, da nachschub nicht klappte und kein motivierter servicepersonal vorhanden (max.2 sterne).

Rechnung gut kontrollieren, unsere wies unbezogene Mehrleistungen auf.
