we stayed here for 4 nights whilst exploring sucre, and loved the hotel. our room is fantastic, on the top floor with views over the city, and the roof terrance was perfect for watching the sun go down with a cold drink! it´s only about 5 minutes walk from the main square with restaurants and cafes. hotel was clean and staff always happy to help. best hotel we´ve stayed in in south america!

gute Lage, mittendrin und trotzdem ruhig

sucre ist eine schönsten städte lateinamerikas, jedem, der zwei tage zeit hat, zu empfehlen. sonst erfährt man nie, daß es auch auf diesem kontinent sichere und sehr angenehme orte gibt. am besten sollte man aus medellin, lima oder caracas direkt hin reisen, der kontrast könnte kaum größer sein.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
museen, zum teil sehr gelungen (vor allem die klöster), zum teil aber auch sehr schlicht (z. b. das armeemuseum). außergewöhnlich gute küche – picante de pollo sollte niemand verpassen, ebenso die eigenwillige chorizo chuquisaqueño. ein besuch in den berühmten schokoladerien der stadt verhilft zu geschenken, die garantiert nicht chinesischer herkunft sind und außerdem in europa geliebt werden – weil dort nicht erhältlich.
