would be helpful to have English and/or Spanish-speaking staff (everyone I spoke to just knew Portuguese and understood some Spanish); a map or brochure of things to do in Geriba would be helpful
I only stayed for one night, but I was blown away at the service and amenities! Upon arrival I received a coupon for a free welcome drink and was told that tea time was between 6-7pm. There was a built-in wall-mounted flat screen TVs and free wifi internet in the room. I had to ask for an adaptor for my US 3-pronged laptop plug since the outlets were not compatible, and they just plugged in the 2 prongs into an adaptor connected to the A/C outlet --a little dangerous with the 3rd prong sticking out. (Next time I will remember to bring my own). I couldn't have a late check out but they let me keep my bags at the front desk until I had to leave in the late afternoon, so I was able to go walk along and enjoy the beach. Overall, I really enjoyed my one-night stay at Chez Pitu, and I only wish I had better weather while I was there and more time to see the rest of Buzios.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The beach is great to walk along (be careful of the jellyfish that are everywhere though!) Climb up on the rocks/cliff at the end of the beach (towards the right when you step outside the hotel onto the beach) to see the waves crashing up on the rocks, the local people fishing, and enjoy the view of the beach and water!

The location is excellent, overlooking the sand of the beach Geribá. The service is good and the breakfast and afternoon tea (included in daily). The rooms have facilities common to large hotels. The weak point is on account of its small size, which makes it advisable not to stay long.
