Porto Bay Glenzhaus Hotel Buzios Info
A resort town in the state of Rio, this cozy boutique hotel has limited rooms, but unlimited sun for you to enjoy a relaxing stay. The nearest city as well the airport is the capital, which is between a two to three hour drive away from Buzio. The hotel is surrounded by several beaches, and can also help organize trips on boats or schooners. The service is outstanding, and the staff will be more than pleased to answer all your questions no matter how trivial. If you are looking for a place to relax and be pampered, then look no further than Porto Bay Glenzhaus.

Quiet location, very friendly and efficient staff, delicious tropical breakfast with bubbly. decent rather than `exclusive` or `luxurious`. had to change room 3 times. different comfort. first room was smelly (lavatory leak?), second one was deluged after tropical storm. We were disappointed with our room allocation on the first night. Some nasty niffs hanging around, we couldn`t find a cause (strong lavatory odor enhanced by some `masking` citrus chemicals). We requested relocation and luckily they had another available room so we got another one. Our happiness didn`t last too long though because on the third night our room leaked completely due to severe downpour. water all over the floor, wet luggage, midnight nightmare. There was a second relocation after that, bit too much as for a 4-night stay in what had been advertised as a `luxurious, exclusive and tranquil` property. The first two rooms should not have been offered to guests in the first place. Staff however very friendly and doing their utmost to make us happy and accepted their liability for these disasters. We have requested some form of compensation and received a free taxi transfer to Rio (worth £100) without any problems. I think they know exactly what is going on with some of the rooms, and these, I`m afraid are below the advertised standard. In Buzios there many other lovely properties in much better locations so I wouldn`t really recommend staying in Glenzhaus (at this price!). Looks good in pictures though.

very good location, comfortable spacious rooms all equipped, super comfortable pool area. Breakfast very well acclimated. Atencion excellent staff. prices for using the room service (telephone). A pretty good trip, in comparison with what the city offers quality accommodations in Buzios Hotel Porto Bay glenzahaus is tops in every way, comfort, location, attention
