Four star hotel in need of a refresh.
Nice location at Beira Mar close to shopping malls, restaurants etc.

This is not a five star hotel, and the experience is more what you would expect from a four star Best Western anywhere in US/Europe. Everything feels a bit 80s about it. But I doubt you will find anything better in Florianopolis city centre. If you are staying more than for a few days I would recommend looking into renting an apartment or even house for a week which can be surprisingly cheap.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I would recommend renting a car to be able to get around the island and see all the gorgeous beaches. Public transportation is a joke here unfortunately.
