Atlantico Copacabana Hotel, Rio De Janeiro

The hotel is very conveniently located - walking distance from the beach and at the intersection of very lively streets. The receptionists at the reception desk are very helpful and friendly. They offered us towels on the last day (AFTER checking out) to use at the beach. We stayed there only 2 days but due to the good suggestions from a receptionist on the first night we made the main attractions (Curcevado and the Shugar Loaf Mountain) during our one-day sightseeing. The driver offered by the hotel was also friendly but perhaps a bit more expensive than if we were to use the meter taxis. The same receptionist gave a recommendation for a good restaurant not too far from the hotel. We also liked the fact that there are many great snack and juice places right next to the hotel.

the Copacabana beach is less then 10min walk away and there are several shops, supermarkets and snack bars on the way from the hotel to the beach. The Metro station is just across the road and that's a good way to move around Rio without depending on the taxis...

I have stayed at the Atlantico Copacabana many times, this being the first through Agoda. It isn't fancy, but then again it is right in the middle of Copacabana and you don't want to spend that much time there anyway. Excellent breakfast included in the morning and very close to the METRO rail line. A little noisy if your room is floor 6 or below, as all standard rooms face the street. It is the location which is key for this property

el hotel tiene una perfecta ubicación, metro, bus en la puerta y la playa a 2 cuadras. Todo tipo de comercio, restaurantes, bancos etc. La habitación era un poco pequeña, pero suficiente. Limpio. desayuno buffet suficiente sin grandes lujos. En general es muy recomendable. Lo peor: el acceso a internet no es gratis, ¡¡¡ es muy caro!!! carisimo

The hotel is a short walk to Copacabana Beach, along the way you can stop off and do some shopping along Rua Barata Ribeiro and Av N.S. De Copacabana streets. Across the road is the metro subway station, which can be used for getting around Rio, it is very cheap. We found it very clean and safe to use. It was not a difficult subway to use, as all the trains have station guides near the doors. Also outside the hotel is a Juice bar, where you can get just about anything you want in the way of a juice. It also offers some snack food. There is a supermarket just a block down the road where you can purchase water, snacks and lots of other items. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overall it is not a bad hotel if you have no other choices available.

Rooms have recently been repainted and redecorated. The subway is right accross the street so you can save money on taxis from Copacabana to downtown Rio.

a surprise for me was great because the hotel is well located and close to the beach and shopping areas. In addition this close to the metro station I have been very useful. Also liked the comfort of leisure as the area is very good with a nice pool and a view maravilhosa.Espero which is transmitted to the hotel that my satisfaction with the offered cooking and good breakfast.
