the hotel has one of the best locations in ipanema.close to beach restaurants night life and safe

i visit rio often ,i prefer to stay in ipanema as it is convenient and safe.i have stayed in many apartments and hotels near the ipanema plaza.the ipanema plaza is by far the best option i have used .i have stayed many times over the past years and pleased to see facilities and service have been improving consistently.
the front desk staff are very helpful with a good knowledge of tourist otions and restaurants.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
take the tram to st theresa and eat lunch at theresas the hotel restaurant

Ipanema Plaza Hotel, Rio de Janeiro
Prachtige ligging in een "veilige" en redelijk rustige straat pal aan het strand van Ipanema, en recht tegenover het Gaystrand, mooi toegangkelijk.

Dit hotel ligt aan de Rua Farme de Amoebo en is een van de mooie zijstraten van de hoofdader in Ipanema, prachtig hotel met op top een mooi groot zwembad met lichtstoelen en een fabuleus uitzicht over Rio en het beroemde Christusbeeld en de kust en stranden van Ipanema, mooie lobby en uitgebreid ontbijt wat zowel binnen als buiten gebruikt kan worden. Goed hotel en z'n 5 sterren meer dan waard.
Restaurant Tip:
Op de hoek bevindt zich het enige en echte beste "kippen-restaurant "Galetos Grill", een absolute aanrader en topper en world famous..

Gostei da localização e do quarto mas o hotel esta necessitando de uma reforma e o serviço de garagem é muito demorado e caro.Colocar flor de plastico no banheiro é de extremo mal gosto, é preferivel nao colocar nada.Os produtos de shampoo e sabonete sao muito ruins. A academia de ginastica tem os piores aparelhos de ginastica que eu ja vi, muito ruim. Deveriam aproveitar melhor o espaço da piscina, da ginastica e do bar do terraço. Na epoca de muito movimento deveriam colocar mais pessoas para atender no balcao de check in, check out.
