Good service at frontdesk
Close to Metro station and good breakfast

Triple room is too small. Free WiFi for only one person device. Three of us need to share the line between laptops and mobile phones. Small gym with steam room next to a small swimming room. 3 mins walk to Metro and 10 mins walk to Copacabana beach.

Great location but not worth the money

i went for the carnival and the hotel did not really add to my holiday experience. it was ridiculously overpriced and a substandard 4* hotel. the hotel staff are only willing to help you if you are 'rich' and can make it worth their while. there are other hotels in the vicinity that show better brazilian hospitality and most hotels in the area arrange free shuttles and discounted tours.
rio is a beautiful place. i think the least you can do is stay somewhere more deserving.
