location, location, location!!! Great breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, view from the 20 floor pool and bar amazing Hotel Feature Tip : If you are interested in renting a bike ask the staff, they had a bike for no charge!

We stayed about 5 nights at the Porto Bay Rio Internacional Hotel Rio De Janeiro. It was very nice, our tour company reserved a room with 2 twin beds and the hotel staff was very accommodating about getting us a room with a Queen bed in it. We gave up a balcony, but had a great window view overlooking the beach. Location was good, and the hotel morning buffet was excellent.

Good customer service. Great breakfast. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Internet fees are excessive. Small room safes. Porto Bay is a great hotel that provides a very good value for the price. I have stayed in various hotels in Rio, but this has to be my favorite yet. Unless you can afford to stay at the Copacabana Palace or Fasano Hotel, the Porto Bay is the best place to stay while in Rio. I plan to stay there again on my next trip to Brazil.
Nightlife Tip : Many places to go for fun right outside the front door. Copacabana is where the action is. No real reason to waste your time and money going to Ipanema and Leblon. I've been there and done that. Copacabana rules!

Location on the beach, breakfast and hotel facilities This is a great hotel with great views of Copacobana from the hotel room, the restaurant on the second floor and the pool on the top floor. This hotel has got the lot in terms of its location, views and facilities. The pool and gym were great and the breakfasts overlooking the beach were fantastic. This is a great hotel and the breakfasts were filling, plentiful and of a great quality. Walk across the road to the famous Copacobana beach and feeling like you are living on millions row.

Good location, clean room, very helpful staff, good breakfast. We got a good price on Agoda -half off normal price. At that price, it was a good value. It is in a great location by the beach, and is very friendly for tourists (which is especially important for English speakers in Brazil).

Incredible view!! Million -dollar view from deluxe rooms! Beautiful rooftop deck! Great breakfast included. room didn't get cool enough even with a/c on high level.

Great location right on Copacabana, two blocks from metro, beautiful rooftop pool, wonderful breakfast buffet, excellent customer service. No business center, no small shop I thought this hotel was a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Copa, just doors away from the Copa Palace Hotel. We got a glass of champagne upon arrival to put us in the vacation mood! The staff were all helpful and spoke English well, the rooms were modern and light, and we had a balcony overlooking part of the ocean. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide array of fruit and quick coffee service. Probably one of the best small hotels I've ever stayed at. I would highly recommend this place.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Copa Palace Hotel is only 2 doors down and has a nice spa

Courteous staff with a great breakfast. The room was very clean and bright and the king sized bed was wonderful. The view of the beach and ocean was beautiful. The hotel was clean and front row. My wife and I stayed there for three nights and were very satisfied. The room was on the 19th floor and the bathroom was roomy with a great shower. The breakfast was nice with scrambled eggs and good (American) bacon as well as abundant fruits, cereals, breads, and wonderful coffee. We would recommend this hotel without reservations.

Location and roof top setting. Great for photos. Elevator is small. That's about it. Had no other negative issues with my stay. Porto Bay is in a good location in Copacabana. The beach is across the street and if you pay enough you can enjoy an ocean view room. I enjoyed my stay there. I like the area and would recommend it without hesitation. Again, you will pay for accommodations - for those of you that don't mind to front some money for a hotel room - what more do you want? The hotel sits across the street from the beach. Relax and enjoy it. If you complain about the rate then I suggest you look elsewhere.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : use the vans or public transportation - better and less expensive than the taxi.

Restaurant Tip : Try restaurants in the streets behind the hotel. Not as expensive as those on Copacabana.
