This newly refurbished apartment hotel only two blocks from Copacabana beach offers comfortable rooms and great value or money. The Savoy Othon Hotel in Rio de Janeiro has large apartments with well maintained bathrooms, satellite TV and broadband internet access. The breakfast lounge and bar serves excellent food and refreshments and the area is full of lively bars and restaurants. The beach is very close to the hotel, the rest of Rio de Janeiro is easily accessible by bus or by metro, the nearest station Siqueira Campos is a ten minute walk from the hotel.

the hotel is old and basic, in any other location, it would be worth one quarter of it's quoted price.
it is clean.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Christ the redeemer is the big highlight of the city. the beaches are very nice for people watching. but the city is over priced for visitors

not the cheapest hotel around but ok pricing for short stay. the bed is clean and comfortable though. bathroom should be upgraded though.

Stay at the hotel for 5 nights. Good location, only about 100 meters from the Copacabana beach. Very friendly hotel staff, always keen to help and went an extra mile when asked for assistance. A number of decent shops and restaurants are located very close to the hotel. Recommend the hotel for a short stay.
