Watch out for very aggressive vendors on the beach front and dont carry any handbags. The Hippy market on Sunday morning is a great place to shop for bags, jewellry, hammocks, and clothing.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Essential to go up Corcovada - fantastic experience.

We were on our honeymoon and found that this hotel was both luxurious and very good value for money plus its location was fantastic. We will definetly be back there - hopefully for our 25th anniversary!!!

Restaurant Tip : The famous restaurant 'Garota de Ipanema'. The food was really good and the price was very reasonable.
