Fantasic little hotel with great staff

Please ignore the other reviews about gangs hanging around outside, This is common in Brazil. The location is fantastic 5 minutes walk to a subway station and can walk to most central parts of the business district. Although the staff don't speak a great deal of English, Manual the porter is fluent!!!! and will happily translate anything. The breakfast is average Brazilian buffet breakfast. the homemade cake each morning is a nice touch.
If you are coming from the bus terminal get a taxi on the meter, works out to be R$15.

Nice hotel, close to the metro. Very friendly staff, little English understanding. Good price-quality balans. Rooms are not to big and most have their own balcony.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try the catherdral on walking stistance( 15-20 minutes)

inside the hotel was good, but the surrounding area can be a little intimidating. a bit like bronx ny in the 70/80's. lot of people, and action allaround..
