Very lively area during the daytime, the place to buy computers and related things.
Next to lively city center (Praça da Republica).
Don't get there too late at night, it's grimmy at night.
Ask for a room on the backside, the front side faces a very noisy discotheque.
Travel tip : When you walk towards the left outside the hotel down in Rua Santa Ifigenia, you can have a nice short walk to the neighborhood - and convenient metro station - of Sao Bento.
