This contemporary Sol Melia property in downtown Sao Paulo is good for those wishing to be close to Guarulhos International Airport.
Opened in late 2003, the Tryp Guarulhos Hotel is only a few kilometers from the airport and caters to its transiting guests with a number of special services. A free shuttle runs to and from the airport every hour and the hotel itself has a sleek new spa and sauna area to ease travel tensions both pre- and post-flight. Rooms are generously sized � still with a new and modern feel � including black-out curtains and sound insulation for a solid night�s rest.
It takes around 15 minutes to get to the airport from here via shuttle.

Clean, modern na good location
I had some difficulites to get the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. I did not know in advance that the bus runs only in centain hoours. This information should be clearer.

located very close to the airport, clean rooms, good amenities in the room, friendly stuff
not ideal for somebody who wants to stay in SP longer.the center (for sightseeing, shopping) is far away.
great location near the airport allowed us to arrive at the airport within 15 minutes. the shuttle service to/from the airport was very facilitating. clean room with good amenities. excellent room service. helpful and friendly stuff. internet access and buisiness center available.
very good value for money. actually the rate we got from here was excellent, about half of the original price.
Hotel Feature Tip : the shuttle service to/from the airport was what really was important to us. very convenient with no cost at all. the mini bus runs to/from the airport every hour, 24/7

The airport shuttle service to Guarulhos International Airport leaves once every hour. From the airport it leaves from terminal 1 at the Caesar Hotel shuttle stop at arrivals. Be prepared to wait a while, and to be annoyed by the frequent Caesar and Marriot shuttles. It is free though.
Hotel Feature Tip : Nice sauna on 27th floor, remember to switch it on before getting in.
