The staff was friendly and multilingual. The room had many ammenities for the price point of the hotel. It is in a quaint neigborhood with many cafe's. I would recommend this hotel.

I stayed here with a friend and found our twin room. It would have been fine for a solo traveller. The swimming pool was cold, as it was open-air on the roof top. Staff service and friendliness absolutely fine.

Nicely located in Itaim Bibi
clean and tidy. walking distance to many nice shops, restaurants and bars.

I was in this Htl. and the one of the same chain 1 block away many times. they are nicely run, the stuff is wonderful and willing to help, and the rooms clean and tidy.
They usually improve the conditions of the (this time they were working on the one on Manuel Guedes bar at the lobby) although there are still some rooms with "old features". You get free acces to internet for and you get charged if you requiere more speed, but for me is usually more than enough, even for videotalks by skype.
If you rent a car.
Nightlife Tip:
Vaca Veja (a corner bar 1 block away crowded daily from 6pm and on.... maybe earlier)
