This executive hotel is in the wealthy Pinheiros district, handy to shops, businesses and the US Consulate. Part of the Sol Melia group, the Tryp Nacoes Unidas Hotel lies between the Marginal Pinheiros and Santo Amaro Avenue-- an affluent area that's less built-up than the city center. Interiors in this neat white high-rise are fittingly modern and contemporary -- crisp functional decor providing the usual necessities, including wifi and cable TV. Not far from here, the shops of the upper-class can be found, including the village-sized Shopping Morumbi mall and the super exclusive Daslu. Access to other parts of the city is easy via Granja Julieta metro station by the bank of the Pinheiros, just a few blocks away.

There are no strengths of this hotel. Located outside the city center, although this city is so different from European cities in all respects, and that word does not correspond CENTER my expectations. Sao Paulo is a colossus, chaos, traffic jams, grime and perfection in the destruction of the old colonial buildings. Queue at the reception, lack of information about restaurants worth recommending, tasteless breakfast, paid internet server, and often inefficient. Dissatisfaction with the hotel is also the result of disappointment city that has all the characteristics of a third world city with fawelamli, dirt and rubbish on the streets. Wealth (no doubt) behind just like a real dirty facades of enormous poverty (about 70%) of most people. Pool and spa in the hotel - a euphemism.
