Good location, and view of the town
Good value for a popular tourist resort town

This was really a continuation of my previous stay, but I had to make two separate bookings ; however this worked in my favour as I was able to change my room which was larger and had a view of the town (unlike the first room I slept in). The restaurant does have an oblique glimpse of the lake, but I discovered a good Italian Bar-Restaurant a few blocks away that had a fabulous view of the Lake from the upstairs dining area, get there before sunset and at a night of the full moon for a superb picture of setting sun and rising moonlight over the water. Can't remember the restaurant's name, but its on a corner.

Good views from a hill overlooking the town
Within walking distance to centre of town, As I don't like aircon I appreciated the openable windows in bedroom

Pleasant and helpful front desk staff, good service in restaurant. The hotel itself is showing signs of its age. The carpets might be steam-cleaned but they really need replacing.
The pool is for decoration only. It's far too small for swimming and difficult to find as understandably there are no signs indicating the way to its location.
The room I was given on my first night was claustrophically small and the twin beds poorly arranged.
The hotel does not have a separate bar.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The menu del dia was generally good value for money except Sunday when the chef had a day off (or an off- day).If you've never tasted conga (eel?) don't bother, it doesn't have one.
