Convenient location. Helpful staff at front desk.
Dirty rooms, paper-thin mattresses. EVERYTHING in the room, from the furnishings to the sheets, was the lowest quality they could find.
Having now been to Santiago and knowing the area (La Providencia), I would elect another hotel in this area for future visits. The "kitchenette" is unusable. All you need is a microwave (which it didn't have) and a fridge. The bedroom and bathroom were so small that in the shower I could not stand up at 6 ft tall and had to contort myself to shower.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very easy access to/from the airport. Avoid the "taxistas" at the airport who are thieves and take the bus (collectivo) called "PuertoCentro" from the airport. It is 1700 pesos. Then get off at the "Pajaritos" subte (subway) stop. Pay 400 pesos for the direct trip to Providencia on the red line. Total cost: less than $3.00. Time: Less than 40 minutes.

staff with little english
The room was very nice and spacious. Basically a self contained unit with bedroom and living room which I really appreciated. Staff spoke little english, not a major drawback as what else would you expect in a Spanish speaking country. Reasonable location to be able to get around either by walking or taxis.
