Sketchy location, worn out room but inexpensive

I almost got mugged while walking home to the hotel. It's described by locals as "oscuro" which means kind of obscure. I really wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you can't afford something better. I was just trying to save money. It is near the historical district.. but in Lima you want to be near Miraflores.

the staff was friendly and helpful in giving directions and suggesting tours and sites to see. they were very accommodating to some very early morning travel requirements

el hotel es limpio, bien situado.agua caliente y mucha presion al salir el agua.habitaciones limpias,amplias.trato muy bueno del personal de recepacion.buen desayuno buffet. he repetido varias veces en distintas fechas. lo recomiendo. soy espanyol.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
cerca de la plaza de armas, ceerca de la plaza san martin hay casa de cambios donde se puede cambiar dolares y euros a muy buen precio, preguntar en varias y elegir donde el cambio sea mas alto. a veces varia un poco. comer ceviche de pescado. buscar buenos restaurante baratos donde comen los peruanos.con muy bunos precios.menus por 7 u 8 soles.
