Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

It's near the train station and is quite convinient to catch the train back to the Sacred valley and Cuzco, as well as the bus to Machu Picchu. If you like the sound of the running river, this hotel's location also provide this benefit.
I think it is a little bit overprized since some of the rooms do not have windows facing outside. The privacy of hotel guests are not well kept either because the windows facing inside of the hotel are sometimes widely opened for ventilation by room service staff. The road in front of the hotel is actually a rail road and may not be very convenient for guests with large baggages. There is no Wi-Fi internet and only a public computer with slow cable connections, which is expensive (5 soles per hour).
I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. In general, I think this hotel's staff are friendly and helpful, but it is somewhat overprized. Although there is cable TV in the room, I prefer a hair dryer, a bigger window facing outside, in-room internet and more security. Actually the room is quite noisy because is it just in front of the train station.
Restaurant Tip : The restaurant "Indio Feliz" near the main square, as Fodor's guidebook suggested, is really a must-go place if you are seeking for Peruvian dinning experiences.

1. It´s close to the train station and Buses to Machupicchu.
2. It´s next to the river. The sound of the rushing waters lulls you into sleep.
3. The employees are really nice and helpful
1. The access road ( railroad) it´s kind of rough.
I do recommend this hotel for a one night stay. The price is a little high, but it is convenient for those visiting Machupicchu.
Shopping Tip : Curious and souvenir shops are at a short walking distance.
