Ask for a Heater!

It is cold in Puno and when we checked in we were not told there were space heaters we could have. So our first night and first day were freezing until by chance we were told about the space heaters. Once we had a heater, the room temperature was cold but not bad under 4 blankets.
Breakfast was rather poor particularly the hot bread and since the coffee and milk were not hot, when you add hot water, the cup of coffee is lukewarm. Nice bread but cold cold!
When my companion got sick, the staff was very helpful getting us a doctor.
Restaurant Tip:
We ate almost exclusively at La Casona, on Lima Street, which is one block away from the hotel and where you find everything you need. We also recommend All Ways Travel Company (titicacaperu.com. Great staff.

Die Unterkunft in diesem Hotel war eher unterdurchschnittlich, der Fernseher funktionierte nicht, es gab nicht mal eine Seife. Vielleicht gibts jedoch für diesen Preis nicht mehr zu erwarten. Dafür war es relativ sauber. Die Lage ist ok und da in einer Seitenstrasse sehr ruhig gelegen.
Hingegen war der fürs Frühstück zuständige Angestellte bestrebt, mir in Kürze dieses zu servieren, da ich frühzeitig weiterreisen musste.
Travel tip:
Per Taxi sehr gut vom Bahnhof in kurzer Zeit erreichbar.
