Central location in the most commercial part of the city, quiet room if situated on the Plaza Cagancha side, within walking distance from the old town. Beds are not so comfortable. Balmoral Plaza Hotel is clearly the good choice for staying a couple nights in Montevideo: its central location puts you within walking distance of the old town and of the commercial and active part of the city, whilst rooms are somehow preserved from the city hustle and traffic noise by its situation on Plaza Cagancha.
