Good location, thats about it
cleaning service
i stayed for a few weeks here and have to say the management is just horrid. cockroaches crawling into my room at 2am woke me like nothing else. i mean seriously that is just freaking gross man. wifi is ,rarely, if ever on. broken toilet seat, no hot water for showers. you're in an area with entertainment venues nearby and religious music blaring at 4am. the only redeeming quality is the cool pizza place across the hotel, great prices and food to gnosh on.

good quiet location
near good restaurants, easy walk to town centre
Nice clean room with comfy bed . Staff seemed very friendly and helpful and booked bus tickets for our onward travel. Only problem we found was that it was near to a party venue and the noise was a little overpowering, but it did finish at 10 pm on the dot, so it's not really a gripe!

Well passed its prime
Good Wifi in rooms
Paint was chipping off the walls. The toilet smelt and the door had to be kept shut. Would have been a nice hotel in its prime, but that has long passed.

rubbish, do not stay here
There is a bed in the room
We arrived having booked and unfortunately prepaid. Room was not clean when we arrived. Someones things were still in the room, toiletries, gown, used toothbrush, used soaps, used glass. There was hair all over the floor. We asked them to clean the room. They sent up the security guard to pick up the gown and the toiletries. I ended up having to chuck the used items out! Then in the morning, when I came to shower, the shower did not work. I then had to walk down stairs, as the phone didn't work to tell the fairly unhelpful receptionist about the problem. He then preceded to check the shower, as if I was an idiot and didn't know how to turn it on. Then the security guard had a go. After many failed attempts and several requests to just change rooms, an hour and half later we moved to the room next door. The shower didn't work there either. We got fed up and left. Terrible, avoid at all costs!!!

great services at great location
great location & staffs services
easy to get about, lots of restaurants & cafe bars at walking distant. all staffs are very polite & helpfull. i left my bus ticket to battambang in the room & they're willing to bring it over at the bus depot without hassle. the room itself is pretty basic, nothing luxury about it but it's all i need. clean & large roomy double bed. most definitely come back here again if available.

Pleasant hotel, simple rooms
Ideal location
Ideal location near the town centre and river front. Hotel organises trips and onward bus journies. Rooks are simple and comfy but bathrooms could do with a bit of a clean, otherwise ideal for a couple of days in Battambang

Basic and serviceable
Cheap; all rooms with ensuites; free water
I stayed at the Spring Park Hotel for two days in September 2012. The rooms were basic and serviceable, all with en suite. They weren't scrupulously clean - the mat by the side of the bed for example was moist with dirt, although the bed sheets and towels were clean. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and when I asked if I could keep the insect spray, I was told I couldn't because there were roaches in all the rooms! However, the hotel is very cheap ($6 for fan room, or $12 for air-con), and for that, it was fine.

Avoid
big bed, clean
staff disinterested, forget about a warm welcome....fan room was way too hot and stuffy, u would need air con...couldnt open windows for fresh air.....cold shower, no pressure.....electricity went off 4 times in the space of 3 hours one of the days i was there.....the elevator is turned off during the day time to conserve electricity i presume which means u have to walk the 3 or 4 flights of stairs every time....this gets irritating after a while....big echoes in the corridors so gets quite noisy from about 6.30am onwards....there's a buddhist community and pagoda right behind the hotel and their music can get quite loud and repetitive....15 minute walk to the center of the town....
